Responsibilities
- Attend and document project meetings, ensuring accurate records.
- Establish and maintain an organized electronic filing system.
- Update and manage all drawings, specifications, and logs.
- Understand and evaluate basic construction means and methods.
- Implement and maintain a site-specific safety plan, including pre-task planning, audits, meetings, and training.
- Distribute project documents to subcontractors and maintain comprehensive document logs.
- Identify, assess, and document field issues, including Potential Change Items (PCIs).
- Review, analyze, and process submittals efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain submittal and procurement logs.
- Verify original estimated labor quantities for cost reporting.
- Track work progress, report quantities in place, and update labor cost reports.
- Review, compile, and submit change order requests and quantity surveys.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or completion of a Construction Management Certificate Program (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of construction-related experience (or equivalent).
- Previous construction internship experience preferred.
- Basic proficiency in estimating and scheduling.
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with construction software.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
