Responsibilities

• Assemble bid packages with all construction documents
• Obtain and qualify all bids from subcontractors
• Administer all contracts with subcontractors
• Administer, negotiate, and implement all change order requests
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with a variety of people, including owners, managers, designers, supervisors, tradespersons, and craft workers
• Infrequent travel may be required
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Purchasing / Estimating Required Skills/Abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Conflict-resolution skills
• Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations
• Ability to read construction drawings and understand industry scopes of work
• College Degree or related experience in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
• At least 2 of construction experience required
