• Provide technical engineering support for business developers and interface with customers to determine feasibility and preferred design for projects
• Manage or assist with completing ESR's (Engineering Service Requests) for development projects
• Manage or assist with requests for qualifications, proposals, and the contract administration that follows
• Provide strong technical support to business developers and others as needed to define and develop Scope of Work and Basis of Design for both development and capital projects
• Manage engineering contractors in the creation of processes and layouts for development projects
• Work with equipment vendors, engineering and construction contractors to obtain project pricing
• Travel to project sites as needed to gather essential information
• Work towards creative solutions for customer challenges
• Ensure designs meet applicable codes, safety, operational, and commercial objectives
• Provide technical support for internal operations

• Experience with the development of capital budgets, schedules, and work breakdown structures
• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum 5+ years of significant project/project management experience ($500K+)
• Familiarity with processes and operational practices of heavy industries such as rail, transportation, power, mining, refineries, mineral processing, marine, etc
• Frequent site visits to industrial facilities, which require walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and other similar activities
