Reviewed financial statements and tax returns spread by the credit analyst for accuracy. Created global cash flow and determined accuracy of risk rating. Upgraded or downgraded said credit depending on findings. As needed spread financial statements and tax returns on Moody’s and Buker’s Tax Analysis software programs. Conducted in-depth financial analysis of new credits and loan renewals for Commercial Loans, Commercial Real Estate Investors, Owner/User Properties and Companies with revenues under $1MM to $126MM. Advised relationship managers by providing credit and loan underwriting solutions for a diverse portfolio consisting of C&I and CRE loans, Equipment Leases, Secured and Unsecured loans, Receivable lending, Loan Participations/Syndications and SBA credits ranging from $100k to $30MM. Developed, recommended, and implemented customized credit solutions by underwriting commercial loans meeting the specific needs of the clients. Prepared credit memorandum for Board approval. Interfaced with third party Credit Review auditors. Collaborated with senior management in creating a new underwriting template for the Bank’s C&I and CRE loans and new loan programs by utilizing CASH.

Underwrote new and renewals of Commercial Real Estate, and Construction, Commercial and Industrial loans, USDA, SBA, Asset Based loans from $50k to $3MM. Performed credit review of loan portfolio in preparation for internal and external audits. Analyzed and spread tax returns, and financial statements on CASH and Moody’s software. Reviewed appraisal and environmental reports, A/R and A/P aging reports. Prepared Credit Memorandums for Senior Management approval.

Solicitated, underwrote, and managed a $35MM Commercial Real Estate portfolio, Syndications/Participations and C&I consisting of secured, unsecured Lines of credit, term loans, and construction. Performed due diligence on CRE, and C&I packages by reviewing, analyzing credits and relationships for quality, adherence to bank’s standards and policies. Determined loan amount, covenants, and prepared Credit Memorandums for approval by Senior Management. Marketed to High-Net-Worth individuals.

Examined $7B C&I and Commercial Real Estate portfolio; identified deteriorating or negative management control trends by reviewing compliance with policies, guidelines, and regulations. Risk rating validation of portfolio consisting of hotels, office, retail, multi-family, mix-use projects, land, credit enhancements, bonds, health care facilities, commercial loans and SBA loans ranging from $500k to $250MM.

Contributed to a 60% increase of the Commercial Real Estate Division through solicitation, screening and closing transactions. Developed and maintained liaisons with business owners, developers, contractors, and brokers. Performed due diligence of C&I and CRE projects; analyzed financial statements, tax returns, rent rolls and operating statements.
