Job purpose

This position executes sales strategies, builds productive relationships and closes sales. The primary job purposed is to maximize revenue by signing new accounts and managing existing accounts.

Duties and responsibilities

• Prospect for and qualify prospective new distributor or retail clients for our regulated product line.
• Become an expert in our products, market and prospects.
• Present our products to prospective customers in an accurate and compelling manner by phone, email, text and personal meetings.

• Answer objections, close, and submit complete and accurate orders.
• Record all activities in our Customer Relationship Management system as trained and directed.
• Reach target number of accounts as directed.
• Call on and visit prospective customers and sign them up as new accounts.
• Build value in and increase monthly orders from existing accounts.

• Set goals, manage and report on territory sales metrics and data requested by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience in cannabis industry required.
• Proven dedication to performance-based environments.
• Industry experience a must

• Computer proficiently, specifically but not limited to: Salesforce (preferred), Microsoft Office Suite (required)

• Expert time-management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills; Ability to quickly adapt to an often-changing and rapid-paced work environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to deliver effective presentations.
• This position requires travel. Must have valid driver’s license.

Compensation: $50,000 plus commission
