Position Overview
The Architectural Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of architectural projects across multiple phases. You will serve as the central point of leadership between clients, consultants, internal design teams, and contractors, ensuring that quality, budget, and timelines align seamlessly.
This role requires strategic thinking, technical fluency, and the ability to anticipate challenges before they reach the job site.
Key Responsibilities

Lead projects from programming and schematic design through construction administration

Manage client relationships with professionalism and proactive communication

Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation

Coordinate multidisciplinary consultants including structural, civil, and MEP engineers

Oversee production of construction documents ensuring accuracy, completeness, and code compliance

Conduct quality control reviews and enforce internal standards

Facilitate design meetings and maintain clear documentation of decisions and changes

Support permitting processes and maintain knowledge of local regulations

Provide mentorship and direction to architectural staff and junior team members

Participate in business development efforts and client presentations as needed
Qualifications

8+ years of architectural experience with demonstrated project management success

Professional licensure preferred

Strong knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, and building systems

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience with commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, or institutional projects preferred

Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard design software

Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and forecasting
