Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Position Summary
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) plays a key role in coordinating and supporting all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout. Working closely with the Project Manager and field teams, the APM will assist with scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, documentation, and quality control. This position requires a high degree of organization, technical skill, and communication.
Key Responsibilities

Support the Project Manager in planning, execution, and closeout of projects within budget and schedule.

Assist with project documentation including contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and daily reports.

Collaborate with field teams and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate communication of project goals and deliverables.

Monitor and track project schedules, budgets, and procurement to anticipate and resolve issues proactively.

Help manage relationships with clients, design professionals, consultants, and suppliers.

Support jobsite safety programs and ensure adherence to all company and regulatory safety requirements.

Contribute to project meetings, prepare documentation, and follow up on action items as needed.

Participate in value engineering and cost control efforts.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in a construction project management support role (internships and co-ops considered).

Strong knowledge of construction processes, documentation, and terminology.

Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar).

Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving project demands.
