Build Your Career With a Team That Builds Big

If you’re an Assistant Project Manager who knows how to keep projects moving, details organized, and teams accountable, this is an opportunity worth putting on your hard hat for. We’re looking for a sharp, driven construction professional to join a growing team in Heber City, Utah, supporting the successful delivery of complex construction projects from preconstruction through completion.

This is more than a desk job with a fancy project title. You’ll be deeply involved in the action, working alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and field teams to make sure projects stay on schedule, on budget, and up to the quality standards everyone expects.

You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership, sharpen your project management skills, and grow into a larger leadership role while working with a company that values hard work, accountability, collaboration, and doing things the right way.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from kickoff through closeout.
  • Assist with project schedules, budgets, contracts, purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other critical project documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with field leadership to ensure project milestones, manpower, materials, and production goals remain on track.
  • Communicate regularly with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project documents to identify potential issues before they become expensive problems.
  • Help manage project costs and monitor commitments, billing, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
  • Assist with procurement and material coordination to ensure the field has what it needs when it needs it.
  • Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists, inspections, and other project requirements.
  • Participate in project meetings and help document action items, responsibilities, deadlines, and follow-up.
  • Support contract administration and ensure project documentation is accurate, organized, and current.
  • Help identify schedule risks, scope gaps, conflicts, and potential cost impacts.
  • Work with subcontractors and vendors to maintain strong communication and ensure contractual obligations are being met.
  • Assist with project closeout, turnover documentation, warranties, as-builts, and final completion requirements.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and help keep small issues from turning into large ones.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and professionalism across every project.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who brings construction knowledge, organization, confidence, and a genuine desire to grow. You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you should be someone who takes ownership, asks smart questions, follows through, and can keep multiple moving pieces organized without losing sight of the big picture.

Ideal qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of construction/project management experience preferred.
  • Experience working in commercial, industrial, multifamily, civil, or other complex construction environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, contracts, budgets, and project documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time-management abilities.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to see how individual decisions affect the larger project.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with construction management software such as Procore or similar platforms is a plus.
  • A team-first attitude and the confidence to communicate with everyone from subcontractors in the field to owners and executives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent construction experience will be considered.

Why This Opportunity?

This is an opportunity to become a key player in the project team, not simply another person pushing paperwork around. You’ll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, work alongside experienced construction leaders, and have a clear path to continue developing your career.

If you’re ready for a role where your organization, communication, construction knowledge, and initiative actually make a difference, this could be your next great move.
