RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage project files and flow of information for assigned project.
- Write bid scopes.
- Keep all jobsite and field plans up to date.
- Manage RFIs.
- Manage submittals.
- Maintain pertinent project logs.
- Conduct meetings when needed.
- Attend company and industry events including meetings, trainings, workshops, etc.
- Plans, monitors, and reports project status and performance data to management team.
- Accountable to manage risks, develop and implement mitigation plans, and communicate risks for both self-performed and subcontracted work across all phases of the project.
- Contributes by providing project management guidance to associates and field engineers.
- Ensures that team goals, roles, protocols, and business relationships are consistent with high-performance requirements and congruent with the company's strategy.
- Will be responsible for promoting accountability, and assertively offers encouragement and constructive feedback.
- Other related duties as assigned or needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Construction Management, or related field, preferred.
- Candidates must have basic knowledge of general building trades and sequence of work, project financials and cost procedures, and EH&S practices.
- Key competencies are initiative, communication, teamwork, and dependability.
- At least 3 years’ experience supporting or managing large scale projects and knowledge of construction and utility industry practices.
- Understanding of Critical Path Scheduling software and MS Office Suite.
- Must be able to travel to different job sites.
- Moderately complex problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant project experience may be substituted for education.
