Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision & Leadership – Develop, communicate, and execute a long-term strategic plan that positions the bank as a leader in innovation, service excellence, and community engagement.

  • Market Growth & Expansion – Identify and pursue growth opportunities across commercial, retail, and digital banking channels while maintaining prudent risk management and regulatory compliance.

  • Financial Performance – Oversee profitability, capital adequacy, liquidity, and asset quality; drive disciplined growth strategies that maximize shareholder value.

  • Operational Excellence – Ensure efficient, scalable processes across lending, deposits, compliance, operations, and technology to support a high-performance culture.

  • Risk & Regulatory Management – Maintain a robust risk management framework that meets or exceeds all regulatory requirements while protecting the bank’s reputation and long-term stability.

  • Talent Development – Attract, retain, and mentor top leadership talent; create a culture of empowerment, accountability, and professional growth.

  • Stakeholder Relations – Represent the bank to the community, regulators, investors, and industry leaders; cultivate strong partnerships and advocate for the institution’s role in economic development.

Qualifications

  • Proven executive leadership experience in the banking or broader financial services industry, ideally as a CEO, President, or C-suite leader in a high-performing institution.

  • Track record of success in driving growth, profitability, and organizational transformation.

  • Comprehensive understanding of banking operations, compliance, risk management, and financial performance metrics.

  • Strong network and reputation within the banking and financial community.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, JD, or similar) strongly preferred.
