Do you thrive on strategy, precision, and bold leadership? Are you energized by guiding organizations through complex financial landscapes with confidence and creativity? We’re searching for a Chief Credit Officer (CCO) who can do more than manage risk — we want someone who can elevate our credit culture, sharpen our financial edge, and fuel growth while safeguarding the core of our business.

Why This Role Matters

The CCO is not just the gatekeeper of risk but the architect of possibility. You will lead with vision, weaving together insight, rigor, and ingenuity to ensure our lending and credit strategies aren’t just safe, but smart and scalable. You’ll set the tone for a culture of excellence — where compliance is mastered, relationships are nurtured, and opportunities are maximized.

What You’ll Do

  • Shape Strategy with Impact – Design, refine, and execute a forward-thinking credit philosophy that fuels growth while protecting the company’s financial health.

  • Lead & Inspire – Mentor a team of credit professionals, instilling confidence, collaboration, and a zest for solving problems.

  • Balance Risk & Reward – Drive sound underwriting standards, portfolio management, and credit risk policies that strike the perfect balance of boldness and caution.

  • Collaborate at the Top – Partner with the CEO, CFO, and Board to align credit strategy with overall organizational goals.

  • Stay Ahead of the Curve – Anticipate market shifts, regulatory updates, and emerging risks before they land on the horizon.

What You Bring

  • A track record of executive credit leadership — ideally 10+ years in progressive credit roles, with at least 5 in a senior or executive position.

  • Mastery of credit risk, underwriting, portfolio management, and regulatory compliance.

  • A zest for leadership — someone who can coach, energize, and elevate others.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial strategies in a way that sparks clarity and confidence.

  • A forward-thinking, opportunity-focused mindset — you see challenges not as obstacles, but as doors to innovation.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Competitive base salary of $220K–$260K plus performance incentives.

  • A culture that values bold ideas, transparent collaboration, and true ownership.

  • The chance to shape not just policies, but the future direction of the organization.

  • Executive-level influence with room to leave your mark on the company’s legacy.
