What You'll Do

As a Commercial Lender, you will:

• Develop, manage, and grow a diverse portfolio of commercial banking relationships.
• Prospect aggressively and build new relationships throughout the Dallas business community.
• Structure and deliver commercial lending and deposit solutions tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Analyze financial statements, evaluate creditworthiness, and identify potential lending risks and opportunities.
• Partner with credit, treasury management, and other internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while continually expanding your network and market presence.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across commercial banking products and services.
• Represent the organization at networking events, industry functions, and community activities.
• Manage the lending process from initial conversation through closing and beyond.
• Stay ahead of market trends, economic developments, and competitive activity.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications include:

• Several years of successful Commercial Lending or Commercial Banking experience.
• A proven track record of business development and portfolio growth.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lending, credit analysis, and financial statement analysis.
• Experience structuring commercial credit facilities and navigating the lending process.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• A strong network within the Dallas or surrounding Texas business community is highly desirable.
• The ability to balance sales production with sound credit judgment.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
