The Role

This is a relationship-first Commercial Lender role for someone who believes banking should still feel personal. You’ll work closely with local business owners, developers, and professionals, helping them grow responsibly while protecting the bank’s credit culture. What You’ll Actually Do

• Build, grow, and maintain a healthy portfolio of commercial relationships

• Structure and negotiate loans across C&I, owner-occupied real estate, and select investor CRE

• Call on businesses in the Boise market and become a trusted financial partner, not just a lender

• Work closely with credit, underwriting, and operations to move deals efficiently and cleanly

• Present loans clearly and confidently to credit committees

• Monitor existing relationships, spot risk early, and address issues head-on

• Stay active in the community and represent the bank with credibility and integrity

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 3+ years of commercial lending or relationship management experience

• Solid understanding of credit, cash flow analysis, and loan structuring

• Comfortable sourcing new business and maintaining existing clients

• Strong communication skills and a straightforward, transparent style

• A reputation for doing the right thing, even when it’s harder

• Knowledge of the Boise market is a strong plus
