We’re searching for a driven, detail-oriented, and highly strategic Concrete Estimator who knows how to turn plans into profitable, executable work. This is not a back-office number crunching role. This is a high-impact position for someone who thrives in fast-paced construction environments and understands the rhythm of concrete operations from bid day to closeout.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for concrete construction projects including structural, commercial, industrial, and multi-family work
• Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates
• Perform quantity takeoffs for foundations, slabs, tilt-up, structural concrete, site concrete, and reinforcing steel
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Collaborate with project managers, field leadership, and executives during preconstruction and bid strategy meetings
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
• Develop conceptual budgets and hard bid estimates
• Maintain current pricing databases for labor, materials, and equipment
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site walks, and client discussions when needed
• Assist in contract reviews, scope clarifications, and proposal development
• Track bid results and market trends to sharpen future estimating strategy

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of estimating experience in concrete construction
• Strong knowledge of concrete means and methods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and civil/structural drawings
• Experience with takeoff and estimating software
• Strong understanding of labor production rates, material pricing, and scheduling impacts
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy
• Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required
