We’re looking for a strong, experienced Concrete Foreman who knows that great concrete work starts long before the truck arrives. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can take charge of crews, keep production moving, maintain high-quality standards, and make safety the non-negotiable foundation of every project.

The right Foreman is organized, accountable, confident in the field, and comfortable making decisions when the schedule gets tight. You’ll coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, layout, forming, reinforcing, placement, finishing, and cleanup while keeping the entire crew focused on doing the work correctly and safely.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily concrete operations and supervise field crews from mobilization through completion.
• Plan manpower, equipment, materials, and workflow to keep projects productive and on schedule.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, drawings, elevations, details, and project documentation.
• Coordinate concrete placement, forming, reinforcing, finishing, grading, layout, and related activities.
• Perform quality-control checks throughout the project and ensure work meets project specifications.
• Conduct daily pre-task planning, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and job hazard assessments.
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements without cutting corners.
• Identify hazards before work begins and immediately address unsafe conditions or practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and other field personnel.
• Track production, manpower, materials, equipment, and progress.
• Troubleshoot field issues quickly and communicate solutions clearly.
• Train, coach, and develop crew members while holding the team accountable for workmanship and safety.
• Monitor schedules and adjust daily operations when conditions, deliveries, weather, or project requirements change.
• Ensure tools, equipment, forms, and materials are properly maintained and safely used.
• Help minimize rework, waste, delays, and unnecessary costs.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate project updates to leadership.
• Represent the company professionally with clients, trade partners, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.

Safety Is the Standard

Safety isn’t something checked off a clipboard at the beginning of the day. It is part of how the job gets done. The Concrete Foreman will be expected to lead by example, recognize potential hazards, communicate expectations clearly, and stop work when something isn’t right.

We’re looking for someone who understands that production and safety work together. A successful Foreman creates a crew that works efficiently because everyone knows the plan, understands the hazards, and takes ownership of the work.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman or experienced concrete field leader.
• Strong understanding of concrete construction methods, forming, reinforcing, placement, and finishing.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage field crews.
• Strong knowledge of jobsite safety practices and OSHA standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to plan ahead while handling problems as they arise.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients.
• Reliable, accountable, and willing to lead from the front.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and manage competing priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• A safety-first mindset with the confidence to hold others accountable.
