Concrete Superintendent
???? Boise
???? $120,000 – $135,000
The Job Site Needs a Field General. Not a Clipboard Spectator.
Concrete is unforgiving. It remembers bad planning, weak leadership, missed schedules, and sloppy execution forever. That’s why we’re searching for a Concrete Superintendent who thrives in the organized chaos of active job sites and knows how to turn rebar jungles, pump trucks, and production schedules into smooth, synchronized progress.
This role is equal parts builder, strategist, motivator, and boots-on-the-ground commander. You’ll lead crews through structural concrete operations with confidence, precision, and a sharp eye for quality while keeping projects charging forward like a well-tuned diesel engine at sunrise. ?????
If you can read plans like a roadmap, manage subcontractors without breaking stride, and still crack a grin while solving problems in the field, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.
What You’ll Be Owning
- Oversee all phases of concrete construction operations from layout through final pour
- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and schedules with tactical precision
- Ensure projects stay on track for safety, budget, production, and quality expectations
- Manage structural concrete activities including foundations, slabs, tilt-up, walls, columns, and elevated decks
- Lead daily jobsite meetings and maintain strong communication with Project Managers and ownership teams
- Identify project bottlenecks before they become schedule-eating monsters
- Maintain rigorous safety standards and cultivate a culture where accountability matters
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and sequencing plans with confidence
- Track manpower, production rates, inspections, and site logistics
- Mentor field staff and help build high-performing crews that actually enjoy working together
What Makes You a Heavy Hitter
- 5+ years of superintendent experience in concrete construction
- Strong knowledge of structural concrete methods, forming systems, and sequencing
- Ability to lead multiple crews while maintaining calm under pressure
- Proven scheduling and coordination abilities
- Experience with commercial, industrial, or multi-family concrete projects
- OSHA knowledge and a deep respect for jobsite safety
- Excellent communication skills with both field teams and executives
- Ability to adapt quickly when the jobsite decides to throw a flaming wrench into the schedule ????????
The Kind of Leader We’re Looking For
You’re not the superintendent hiding in the trailer pretending spreadsheets pour concrete. You’re visible. Present. Trusted. The crews know you’ll jump in when needed, solve problems quickly, and keep the momentum alive when deadlines tighten.
You understand that concrete construction is part science, part timing, and part controlled storm management.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
- Strong pipeline of concrete projects throughout the region
- Leadership team that values field expertise and operational autonomy
- Competitive compensation with long-term growth potential
- Opportunity to help shape project culture and mentor rising talent
- Stable company with ambitious goals and boots-on-the-ground leadership
- A role where your experience actually matters instead of getting buried under bureaucracy
Some people see concrete as gray.
You see structure, momentum, and the skeleton of something lasting.
