This is a position for someone who understands that strong credit administration is the backbone of sound lending and who can confidently navigate loan documentation, credit processes, compliance requirements, and portfolio management.

The ideal candidate brings strong banking knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to keep multiple priorities moving without losing sight of the details. You will work closely with lenders, credit officers, loan operations, and leadership to ensure credit-related processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established policies and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor credit-related processes from approval through closing, booking, and ongoing portfolio administration.
  • Review credit documentation, loan files, approval conditions, financial information, collateral documentation, and related materials for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure approved credit terms and conditions are properly documented and communicated to the appropriate teams.
  • Assist lenders and credit officers with credit administration, loan structure, documentation, reporting, and portfolio maintenance.
  • Track loan covenants, financial reporting requirements, annual reviews, maturities, exceptions, ticklers, and other critical credit deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate credit files and ensure documentation meets internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify missing, inconsistent, or incomplete information and work proactively with internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Assist with credit reporting, portfolio monitoring, exception tracking, and management reporting.
  • Review loan documentation and credit files for adherence to policy and approved terms.
  • Coordinate with Loan Operations, Commercial Banking, Credit, Legal, and other departments to facilitate timely resolution of credit-related issues.
  • Support the preparation and organization of credit presentations, loan reviews, renewals, modifications, and other credit-related materials.
  • Help monitor portfolio quality and identify emerging issues requiring additional review or escalation.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of bank policies, procedures, credit standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Handle sensitive financial and customer information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • Contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, accountability, and overall credit quality.

What We’re Looking For

  • Banking experience with a strong understanding of commercial lending and credit administration.
  • Solid knowledge of loan documentation, credit processes, underwriting concepts, and portfolio administration.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret financial and credit information and recognize inconsistencies or potential concerns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong follow-through and the ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and competing requests.
  • Comfortable working with lenders, credit professionals, operations teams, and senior leadership.
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and confidentiality.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and banking/loan systems.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a dependable team resource.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant banking experience.

The Right Fit

This is an excellent opportunity for a credit-savvy banking professional who enjoys being the person behind the scenes making sure the details are right, the documentation is complete, and the credit process stays on track. We are looking for someone who brings knowledge, consistency, confidence, and a strong sense of responsibility to the role.

If you understand credit, respect the details, and know how to keep a lending operation moving, this could be your next opportunity.
