Numbers Tell Stories. You Know How to Read Between the Lines. ?????

We’re searching for a sharp, analytical, and commercially savvy Credit Analyst who thrives in the fast-moving world of banking and finance. This is not a back-office number-crunching role hidden under fluorescent lights and forgotten spreadsheets. This is an opportunity to become a trusted financial detective, strategic thinker, and risk advisor helping drive smart lending decisions and long-term client success.

If you can dissect financials like a surgeon, spot trends before they become headlines, and balance risk with opportunity like a tightrope artist in a tailored blazer, you may be exactly who we’re looking for.

Our ideal candidate combines technical precision with curiosity, confidence, and strong business instincts. You understand that every balance sheet has a personality, every borrower has a story, and every deal deserves thoughtful analysis.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze commercial credit requests including commercial real estate, C&I, construction, and owner-occupied lending opportunities
  • Review and interpret financial statements, tax returns, borrowing structures, cash flow trends, and collateral positions
  • Prepare detailed credit memorandums with thoughtful risk assessments and clear recommendations
  • Partner closely with Relationship Managers and lending teams to structure sound, competitive credit solutions
  • Evaluate borrower strength, repayment capacity, liquidity, leverage, and industry trends
  • Perform ongoing portfolio monitoring and annual credit reviews
  • Identify emerging risks while helping uncover growth opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with internal lending policies, regulatory requirements, and credit quality standards
  • Assist in loan presentations, committee packages, and strategic credit discussions
  • Maintain accurate financial spreading and risk-rating analysis

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information in a concise and understandable way
  • Commercial banking knowledge paired with practical business acumen
  • Confidence working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Intellectual curiosity and the instinct to ask smart questions
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines without sacrificing quality
  • Professional presence with strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of commercial credit analysis or banking experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and cash flow modeling
  • Familiarity with commercial loan structures and underwriting practices
  • Experience with credit software, financial spreading systems, and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and credit policy standards is preferred

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to join a team that values sharp thinking, collaboration, and career growth. You’ll work alongside experienced banking professionals in a market that moves fast and rewards initiative. Seattle’s skyline is built by ambitious people, and we’re looking for someone ready to bring that same energy into the credit space.

You won’t just analyze deals here. You’ll help shape them. ????
