The Opportunity

This role sits at the crossroads of construction, strategy, and business development. You'll be the financial architect behind some of the region's most exciting projects, helping shape decisions long before the first shovel breaks ground.

You won't simply calculate costs. You'll analyze risks, uncover efficiencies, identify opportunities, and help position projects for success from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial, civil, concrete, and construction projects
• Reviewing plans, specifications, drawings, and bid documents with a sharp eye for detail
• Soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Building competitive bid packages that balance profitability and project success
• Collaborating with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and executive leadership
• Identifying potential risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities
• Maintaining current pricing databases and market intelligence
• Participating in preconstruction meetings and client presentations
• Supporting project handoffs to ensure smooth transitions from estimating to operations
• Helping the organization pursue and win strategic opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Experience in construction estimating
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project sequencing
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
