We believe in more than just building structures — we build lasting partnerships and thriving communities. Our collaborative, people-first culture fosters an environment where employees are empowered to succeed and grow in their careers.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced Estimator to join our growing team. This individual will play a critical role in the pre-construction process, helping shape our projects before the first shovel hits the ground. From evaluating blueprints to preparing competitive and comprehensive cost estimates, this is an opportunity to bring expertise and insight to a company that values precision, integrity, and excellence.

As an Estimator, you will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients to develop budgets and bids that reflect realistic costs, timelines, and scopes. You’ll be a key player in winning projects and setting them up for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for all phases of construction projects including conceptual, schematic, design development, and final pricing.

  • Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine scope of work and required contents of estimates.

  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals for accuracy and competitiveness.

  • Collaborate with internal departments including project management, field operations, and executive leadership to ensure cost alignment.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks through value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Track historical cost data and maintain current knowledge of industry trends, labor rates, and material costs.

  • Assist in developing bid strategies and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

  • Conduct quantity takeoffs and prepare general conditions and allowances for both hard and soft costs.

  • Participate in job walks, pre-bid meetings, and site evaluations.

  • Maintain estimating databases and documentation in a clear, organized, and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of construction estimating experience (commercial and/or multi-family preferred).

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, codes, and regulations.

  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, ProEst, or similar tools).

  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to work collaboratively across teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.

  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).

  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth.

  • Supportive and family-oriented company culture.

  • Stability, transparency, and a seat at the table where your voice matters.

If you're ready to join a team that values your expertise and offers a long-term career path in the construction industry, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and help us build the future—one estimate at a time.
