We’re looking for an Estimator who knows that great construction starts long before the first piece of equipment hits the dirt. You’ll be the numbers wizard behind the scenes, turning drawings, specifications, subcontractor quotes, and project details into accurate, competitive, and downright impressive estimates.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects from conceptual through final bid stages
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents with a sharp eye for detail
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and vendor bids
• Identify scope gaps, potential risks, exclusions, and opportunities before they become expensive surprises
• Develop competitive bids while maintaining a strong understanding of project requirements and profitability
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, vendors, subcontractors, and leadership
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site walks, bid reviews, and turnover meetings
• Maintain organized estimating documentation and bid records
• Help refine estimating processes, tools, and strategies as the company continues to grow
• Bring your construction knowledge, curiosity, and occasional “wait…who forgot to include that?” detective skills to every estimate

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

• 3+ years of construction estimating experience preferred
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, materials, and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Experience with quantity takeoffs and cost estimating
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture
• Comfortable communicating with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams
• Organized, dependable, and able to juggle multiple estimates and deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software
• A proactive mindset and the confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and find better ways to get the job done
