What You’ll Do

Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, and hard-bid estimates across multiple project types

Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals with a sharp and skeptical eye

Lead pricing strategy discussions and contribute to go/no-go decisions

Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners, owners, and internal project teams

Identify risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options before they become field problems

Support preconstruction meetings and handoff processes to ensure clean project launches

Continuously refine estimating systems, historical cost data, and best practices
What You Bring

5+ years of estimating experience in commercial or large-scale construction

Strong understanding of means, methods, and real-world construction costs

Confidence communicating with project managers, superintendents, and executives

Proficiency with estimating software and Excel, plus a comfort level with ambiguity

A mindset that balances precision with big-picture thinking
