• Catch risk, waste, and hidden cost before anyone else even blinks
• Align with PMs and field teams so budgets don’t drift into fiction
• Evaluate bids and shape decisions that move millions

• Estimating experience in civil, commercial, or heavy construction
• Ability to read plans like they’re speaking in code only you understand
• Strong grasp of materials, labor production, and real-world costs
• Confidence under deadlines where accuracy still matters more than speed
• Bonus points if you’ve been in the field and know what “actually happens out there”
