This is a strategic role requiring both technical precision and business acumen.

Position Overview

As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in our preconstruction process, delivering accurate, detailed, and competitive estimates for a diverse portfolio of projects. This position requires not only deep industry knowledge and analytical rigor but also the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and analyze architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and related documentation.

  • Develop comprehensive cost estimates and budgets from conceptual design through final pricing.

  • Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals.

  • Collaborate closely with project management, field operations, and executive leadership to ensure alignment on project scope, risks, and strategy.

  • Prepare and present clear, concise bid packages and cost breakdowns.

  • Maintain and refine historical cost data and estimating tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

  • Participate in value engineering, risk analysis, and cost-control planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating, ideally within the commercial, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.

  • Advanced proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Sage Estimating, ProEst, Bluebeam, or similar).

  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, materials, and local market conditions.

  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy, with a strategic mindset.

  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
