Estimator II / Estimator III

Job Purpose
The Estimator II / III plays a critical role in delivering accurate, competitive, and well-coordinated project estimates across a wide range of commercial construction projects. This position supports and partners with the Regional Estimating Manager and senior preconstruction leadership to prepare conceptual, design-development, and final estimates for CM/GC and lump-sum work.
At the Estimator II level, the focus is on developing technical depth, mastering estimating systems, and supporting senior estimators, with a clear growth path into full-scope project responsibility. At the Estimator III level, the role expands to independently preparing and coordinating complete estimates, leading preconstruction pricing efforts on smaller to mid-sized projects, and serving as a trusted cost advisor to Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Trade Partners throughout the design and preconstruction process.

Qualifications & Technical Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Estimator II: 3–5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience

Estimator III: 6–10+ years of commercial construction estimating experience

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Sage Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), and Bluebeam or similar platforms

Experience with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM software preferred

Ability to navigate and interpret 3D models to support quantity take-offs, scope development, and constructability review

Strong understanding of construction activities, means, and methods, with the ability to develop accurate scope and pricing from conceptual or incomplete design information

Proven ability to manage multiple estimates and bid packages simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines

Capability to prepare complete conceptual, design-development, and final pricing, including trade partner coordination and bid leveling
