Job Functions:
- Thoroughly review incoming documentation requests for completeness while determining appropriate structure and documentation required for all loan types.
- Set-up or update existing Customer Information on Bank’s core system.
- Prepare loan documentation, including appropriate provisions and exhibits for all loan types.
- Complete documentation checklists and e-mail loan documents to analyst, loan officer and Real Estate portfolio manager, if applicable.
- Review Beneficial Ownership Form for accuracy and input applicable information into Bank’s core system.
- Review documentation prepared by other team members for completeness and accuracy.
- Review that key legal and customer scanned documents are captured in Bank’s imaging system.
- Input and maintain credit covenant ticklers for all commercial loans.
- Ensure aggregated debt is current and accurate on Bank’s core system for all documentation requests.
- Prepare month end reports.
- Update interest rates and additional provisions on Laser Pro.
- Ensure that department procedures are current.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

- Ability to understand and interpret all applicable documents (e.g. entity formation documents; trust agreements, etc.) to ensure accuracy in documentation.

- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Thorough understanding of Bank Policies and Procedures.
- Thorough understanding of lending regulations (i.e. Truth in Lending, RESPA, ECOA, HMDA, CRA, Reg. O, and BSA).
- Proficient in the use of Laser Pro and Lawyer Pro.
- Strong understanding of the Bank’s core system, MS Work and Excel.
Professional Experience:
- 3 – 5 years related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Ensure that department procedures are current. Other duties as assigned
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumferences, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
