Salary Range: $150,000 – $200,000 (DOE + Bonus Eligible)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Market President to lead and grow our presence in the Kansas City market. This role is ideal for a seasoned commercial banking executive with a proven track record in relationship management, community engagement, and team leadership. As Market President, you will drive business development efforts, oversee local market operations, and ensure our clients receive exceptional service aligned with our organization’s values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Leadership: Serve as the face of the organization in the Kansas City region, providing strategic direction and leadership to all local banking operations.

• Business Development: Originate and manage a portfolio of commercial banking relationships, including C&I and CRE clients, while identifying opportunities for growth across lending, deposit, and treasury services.

• Team Oversight: Lead, mentor, and support a team of relationship managers and other banking professionals to achieve individual and market-wide goals.

• Community Engagement: Actively participate in community and industry events to strengthen the bank’s presence and reputation in the Kansas City market.

• Credit & Risk Management: Ensure high-quality underwriting, risk assessment, and portfolio management in coordination with credit and risk partners.

• Collaboration: Work closely with executive leadership, product teams, and support functions to deliver seamless service and customized solutions to clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).

• Minimum of 10 years of commercial banking experience, with a strong background in business development and credit.

• Prior leadership experience in a market-facing role.

• Strong knowledge of the Kansas City business community and regional economic drivers.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically.
