Construction Industry | Salt Lake City, UT | Up to $100K

Are you the person who keeps the gears turning, the paperwork flowing, and the numbers adding up? This is more than an office role, it’s the command center of a thriving construction operation. We’re looking for an organized, detail-driven Office Manager / Accounting Manager who can bring structure, accuracy, and a little magic behind the scenes to support a growing construction team.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats: part financial wizard, part office orchestrator, and part trusted partner to leadership. You’ll help manage the daily rhythm of the business while ensuring accounting processes, project documentation, and administrative operations run smoothly.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Oversee daily office operations and administrative functions for a busy construction environment
  • Manage accounting processes including AP, AR, invoicing, collections, payroll coordination, and financial reporting
  • Maintain accurate job costing, project financial records, and contract documentation
  • Partner with project managers and leadership to track budgets, expenses, and project performance
  • Prepare reports, reconcile accounts, and support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Manage vendor relationships, purchase orders, subcontractor paperwork, and compliance documentation
  • Assist with HR administration including onboarding, employee records, and company policies
  • Improve office systems, workflows, and processes to keep the organization operating efficiently
  • Serve as a reliable resource for employees, clients, vendors, and leadership

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of office management, accounting, or administrative leadership experience (construction experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of construction accounting processes and project financials
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and job costing
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and a natural ability to spot discrepancies before they become problems
  • Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Office, and construction management platforms
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and make things happen

Why This Opportunity?

This is an opportunity to become a key player in a respected construction organization where your work truly matters. You won’t be buried behind a desk pushing paperwork; you’ll be the heartbeat that helps projects move forward, teams stay aligned, and the business continue to grow.

If you’re someone who enjoys creating order from chaos, solving problems before they appear, and being the trusted person everyone counts on, this role was built for you.
