Project Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team in the Springville, UT area. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of civil and earthwork construction projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion.

Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and site personnel to maintain efficient workflow.

Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.

Perform site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Assist in material procurement and cost tracking to maintain budget integrity.

Support the preparation of project documentation, including reports, submittals, and RFIs.

Utilize construction management software to track project milestones and document project activities.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to earthwork and civil construction projects.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in civil or earthwork construction projects preferred.

Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software (Procore, Primavera, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
