We’re searching for a Project Engineer who thrives in the beautiful organized chaos of commercial construction. Someone who can juggle RFIs like a circus pro, tame submittals before they become wild creatures, and keep projects moving smoother than fresh concrete on pour day.

This is a role for the detail-driven problem solver who loves being in the thick of the action. One moment you’re coordinating with subcontractors, the next you’re decoding specifications like a construction archaeologist uncovering buried treasure in Division 03.

What You’ll Be Doing

???? Project Coordination

• Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day project operations
• Track project schedules, documentation, and critical milestones
• Help ensure projects stay on time, on budget, and free from unnecessary fire drills
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field teams

???? Documentation Wizardry

• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, and project documentation
• Maintain organized project files with precision worthy of a blueprint librarian
• Review plans and specifications for accuracy and constructability
• Assist with contract administration and compliance tracking

???? Field & Office Collaboration

• Participate in jobsite walks and project meetings
• Support field operations and communicate updates between office and site teams
• Monitor progress and help identify potential issues before they become expensive plot twists
• Build strong working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors

???? Project Support

• Assist with budgeting, procurement, and cost tracking
• Help prepare reports, schedules, and project updates
• Support closeout processes including punch lists, warranties, and final documentation
• Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, workflow, and project execution

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 1–4+ years of construction industry experience
• Understanding of commercial construction processes and project lifecycles
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Familiarity with project management software and construction technology platforms
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift like Wyoming weather
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving ability
• Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or MS Project
• Exposure to commercial, industrial, healthcare, multifamily, or concrete projects
• OSHA certifications or safety training
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and field operations
