Build Your Future. Engineer Your Success.

Are you ready to turn blueprints into reality and make your mark on the construction industry? We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented Project Engineer who brings technical know-how, organizational excellence, and an enthusiasm for building exceptional projects from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and wants to grow alongside experienced construction professionals who know how to get things done.

As a Project Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in keeping projects organized, schedules moving, budgets on track, and communication flowing between the field and the office. From coordinating subcontractors and reviewing project documentation to tracking materials and helping resolve construction challenges, you’ll be involved in the details that transform ambitious plans into successful projects. Your ability to anticipate needs, ask the right questions, and keep critical information moving will make you an indispensable part of the project team.

What You'll Bring to the Job

  • Project Coordination: Support Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project operations, ensuring deadlines, deliverables, and priorities remain aligned throughout the construction process.

  • Plans & Specifications: Review construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and contract documents to identify potential conflicts, clarify requirements, and help prevent costly surprises in the field.

  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate project records, RFIs, submittal logs, meeting minutes, change orders, and other essential documentation to keep everyone informed and accountable.

  • Schedule Support: Assist with project scheduling, progress tracking, milestone coordination, and follow-up to help keep construction activities moving forward efficiently.

  • Subcontractor Coordination: Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel to coordinate information, resolve questions, and keep work progressing according to plan.

  • Cost & Material Tracking: Help monitor budgets, purchase orders, material deliveries, quantities, and project expenses while identifying discrepancies that could affect cost or schedule.

  • Quality Assurance: Support quality-control efforts by helping verify that work aligns with approved plans, project specifications, and established construction standards.

  • Problem-Solving: Take initiative when challenges arise, gather the necessary information, coordinate solutions, and help the project team stay focused on practical results.

  • Safety & Compliance: Promote safe work practices and support compliance with project requirements, applicable regulations, and company procedures.

  • Team Collaboration: Build productive relationships with field teams, project leadership, design professionals, and trade partners to encourage clear communication and successful project execution.

What Makes You a Strong Candidate?

  • Experience in construction project engineering, project coordination, or a related construction role is preferred.

  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the big picture.

  • Clear, professional communication skills and the confidence to collaborate with people across all levels of a construction project.

  • A proactive mindset, a willingness to learn, and the ability to take ownership of assignments from start to finish.

  • Familiarity with construction management software, Microsoft Office, scheduling tools, and project documentation platforms is a plus.

  • A commitment to quality, safety, accountability, and continuous professional development.

Why This Opportunity?

This position offers more than a seat at the project table. It’s an opportunity to develop valuable technical and leadership skills, gain hands-on exposure to the full construction lifecycle, and build a foundation for long-term career advancement. You’ll work alongside professionals who understand that successful construction takes more than concrete, steel, schedules, and spreadsheets. It takes communication, collaboration, sound judgment, and people who care about getting the details right.

If you’re ready to take initiative, expand your construction knowledge, and contribute to projects that leave a lasting mark on the built environment, this could be your next great move.
