What You'll Be Doing
As the bridge between the office and the field, you'll support project leadership through every phase of construction by:
- Assisting Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day project operations
- Coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Tracking project schedules and helping maintain critical milestones
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documents for accuracy
- Processing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Performing regular site walks to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Helping identify and solve field issues before they become costly delays
- Assisting with scheduling inspections and coordinating project closeout activities
- Maintaining accurate daily reports and construction logs
- Ensuring projects remain organized, efficient, and client-focused
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who enjoys both planning and problem-solving while building strong relationships across every level of a project.
Qualifications:
- 1-5+ years of commercial construction experience preferred
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is a plus
- Knowledge of commercial construction methods and building systems
- Ability to interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and leadership potential
- Comfortable working both in the field and in the office
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project is a plus
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
