Ref #: 281
Location: Utah Utah 84044
2026-06-16
Salary: 70,000 USD - 80,000 USD
Sector: Construction
Type: Permanent

Salt Lake City, UT

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 | Perks: Competitive benefits, spirited team culture, and a dash of adventure

Are you the kind of person who sees a blueprint and feels an irresistible urge to tinker, optimize, and make things hum like a finely tuned orchestra? Do you secretly enjoy juggling schedules, specs, and spreadsheets all while keeping a smile on your face? If so, you might just be the next Project Engineer / Project Assistant superstar we’re hunting for in the heart of Salt Lake City.

In this role, you’ll be part detective, part problem-solver, part spreadsheet wizard, and 100% essential to our team’s success. You’ll collaborate with project managers, superintendents, architects, and subcontractors, ensuring that every “i” is dotted, every “t” is crossed, and every project milestone is achieved with style.

What You’ll Actually Do (Besides Being Amazing):

  • Support project managers with day-to-day operations, keeping everything on track and on schedule.

  • Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and designers—basically, be the friendly hub of all project communications.

  • Track budgets, submittals, RFIs, and change orders with eagle-eyed precision.

  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and timelines that make stakeholders nod in approval (or awe).

  • Jump in wherever needed—sometimes that means spreadsheets, sometimes that means problem-solving on the fly, always that means making projects run smoother than a Utah sunset.

What We’re Looking For (The Human Side):

  • A curious, detail-oriented brain with a knack for organization and problem-solving.

  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment but doesn’t break a sweat over a little chaos.

  • Excellent communication skills—you can talk to an engineer, a contractor, or a designer without breaking a sweat.

  • A sense of humor, creativity, and the ability to make the mundane feel manageable.

  • Prior experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination is a huge plus—but your personality matters just as much.

Why You’ll Love It Here:

  • Flexible, fun, and friendly team culture (we actually like each other!).

  • Opportunities to grow, learn, and take on more responsibility as your career rockets upward.

  • Competitive salary and benefits that make life outside work a little sweeter.

  • The satisfaction of seeing projects come to life and knowing you had a major hand in it.

If spreadsheets, schedules, and site plans make your heart race (in a good way), this is the place for you. Bring your brain, your curiosity, and your wit—we’ll handle the rest.
