Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000 (DOE)
Classification: Full-Time | Salaried
Build What Matters. Learn Fast. Move Up.
If construction were an orchestra, this role would be the conductor’s right hand keeping every section in sync. As a Project Engineer / Project Assistant, you won’t just observe projects taking shape—you’ll help drive them forward. This is your launchpad into the world of construction management, where blueprints turn into skylines and details make the difference between good and exceptional.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in motion, loves solving puzzles, and finds satisfaction in seeing a plan come to life—on time, on budget, and built to impress.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be embedded in the heartbeat of each project, supporting Project Managers and Superintendents while gaining hands-on experience across every phase of construction.
- Coordinate project documentation like a pro—submittals, RFIs, change orders, and drawings will all flow through you with precision
- Track budgets, costs, and schedules to keep projects aligned and moving forward
- Assist in bid packages, vendor coordination, and subcontractor communication
- Help manage project timelines and proactively identify potential roadblocks before they become real ones
- Maintain organized, audit-ready project files (because chaos is not your style)
- Support field operations and collaborate with on-site teams to ensure seamless execution
- Participate in project meetings, capturing key insights and driving follow-through
- Be a problem-solver—when challenges arise, you lean in, not back
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–3 years of experience in construction or project coordination (internships absolutely count)
- Strong organizational instincts and attention to detail that borders on obsessive—in a good way
- Comfort juggling multiple priorities without dropping the ball
- Clear communication skills—whether you're emailing, calling, or coordinating in person
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to Procore or similar platforms is a plus
- A proactive mindset—you don’t wait to be told, you anticipate what’s needed next
What You’ll Gain
This isn’t just a job—it’s a career accelerator.
- Direct mentorship from experienced construction leaders
- Exposure to the full project lifecycle, from preconstruction to closeout
- A clear path to Project Manager and beyond
- Real responsibility early on—your work will matter from day one
- Competitive compensation and growth opportunities in a thriving market
Why This Role Stands Out
Every building tells a story. In this role, you’re not on the sidelines—you’re helping write it. You’ll develop the technical know-how, business acumen, and field awareness that turn ambitious professionals into industry leaders.
If you’re ready to trade routine for momentum and step into a role where every day builds on the last—this is your moment.
