Build Big. Lead Strong. Leave Your Mark.

Are you the kind of Project Manager who can look at a set of plans and immediately start mentally building the project? Do schedules, budgets, subcontractors, structural challenges, and complicated logistics feel less like chaos and more like an interesting puzzle waiting to be solved?

If so, this could be your next big move.

We are searching for an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager, Structures to lead complex construction projects in and around Goldsboro, NC. This is an opportunity for a confident construction professional who knows how to keep projects moving, teams aligned, clients informed, and problems from turning into five-alarm construction fires.

You'll take ownership of projects from planning through completion, working closely with field leadership, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure every major detail is accounted for. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to confidently manage the many moving pieces that come with structural construction projects.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Project Manager, you'll be the strategic quarterback behind the project, helping guide everything from budgets and schedules to relationships and execution.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading structural construction projects from preconstruction through final completion
  • Managing project budgets, forecasts, schedules, contracts, and overall financial performance
  • Coordinating closely with Superintendents, Project Engineers, estimators, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Reviewing plans, specifications, drawings, and project requirements with a sharp eye for detail
  • Managing subcontractor and vendor relationships, negotiations, scopes, and performance
  • Identifying potential project risks before they grow legs and start running around the jobsite
  • Monitoring project progress and developing solutions to keep work moving forward
  • Managing change orders, RFIs, submittals, documentation, and project reporting
  • Maintaining strong communication with clients and ensuring an exceptional overall project experience
  • Supporting project teams with leadership, direction, and problem-solving expertise
  • Working alongside field leadership to ensure project plans translate successfully from paper to reality
  • Maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, schedule, and profitability

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a seasoned construction professional who understands that successful projects don't happen by accident. They happen through preparation, communication, accountability, and a healthy ability to remain calm when the unexpected decides to show up.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Significant experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
  • Strong background managing structural, commercial, industrial, or complex construction projects
  • Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and financial performance
  • Excellent understanding of construction processes, project documentation, and jobsite operations
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building abilities
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the details that matter
  • Experience working with project management and construction technology platforms
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the confidence to make decisions

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This isn't a role where you'll simply shuffle paperwork and watch projects happen from a distance. You'll have a meaningful seat at the table and the opportunity to lead major projects, influence outcomes, build strong professional relationships, and make a visible impact.

You'll join a team that values capable people who take ownership, communicate honestly, and understand that great construction requires both technical expertise and strong leadership.

Compensation is $130,000 to $150,000, depending on experience, along with a competitive benefits package and a long-term opportunity for professional growth.
