We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager / Project Executive who can step into a high-impact leadership role and bring the experience, judgment, and accountability required to manage projects from concept through completion. This is not a position for someone who simply tracks schedules and attends meetings. We are looking for a seasoned construction professional who understands the entire project lifecycle, knows how to build strong teams, communicates exceptionally well, and has the ability to operate at the project level while keeping an executive-level view of the business.

The ideal candidate will be capable of wearing several hats depending on the needs of the project. You should be equally comfortable managing day-to-day project operations, leading complex and high-value projects, mentoring project teams, working directly with owners and executives, and stepping into a Project Executive-level role when the project demands broader leadership and strategic oversight.

What You’ll Do

• Take full ownership of assigned projects from preconstruction and planning through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost controls, procurement plans, and execution strategies.
• Lead project teams while establishing clear expectations, accountability, priorities, and performance standards.
• Manage contracts, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and project documentation.
• Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, cost-to-complete, cash flow, profitability, and overall project health.
• Identify financial, scheduling, contractual, safety, and operational risks before they become expensive problems.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal leadership.
• Lead project meetings and provide clear, timely communication regarding progress, challenges, costs, schedules, and opportunities.
• Coordinate closely with estimating and preconstruction teams to ensure projects transition smoothly from pursuit to execution.
• Review project plans, specifications, scopes, schedules, and contracts to identify conflicts, gaps, and potential opportunities.
• Drive procurement and subcontractor strategy while ensuring materials, labor, and resources are aligned with project requirements.
• Oversee project execution and ensure work is being performed according to contract requirements, quality standards, schedule expectations, and company objectives.
• Work closely with Superintendents and field leadership to resolve issues and keep projects moving.
• Provide executive-level oversight on larger or more complex projects, including strategic planning, client management, financial performance, and risk mitigation.
• Support business development and client relationships by helping identify additional opportunities and strengthening long-term partnerships.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers, Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and other members of the project team.
• Establish best practices and help create consistency across project teams.
• Participate in project pursuits, interviews, budgeting, value engineering, and client presentations when needed.
• Step in as the senior project leader when circumstances require decisive action, strategic thinking, and executive-level communication.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule, profitability, client satisfaction, and team performance.
• Represent the company professionally and confidently with clients, partners, subcontractors, and internal leadership.

You know how to run the job. You can build a schedule, manage the budget, coordinate subcontractors, negotiate issues, track changes, solve problems, and keep the project team organized. You understand that successful projects require relentless attention to detail and consistent communication.

The Senior Project Manager Side

You can handle complexity without losing control. You understand project financials, contract strategy, risk management, client relationships, procurement, scheduling, and team leadership. You can manage multiple moving pieces while keeping the larger objective firmly in view.

The Project Executive Side

You can see beyond the individual project. You understand how project decisions affect the client relationship, company profitability, reputation, resources, and future opportunities. You can provide leadership across multiple projects, coach project teams, communicate with senior leadership, and make sound decisions when the stakes are high.

What We’re Looking For

• Significant construction project management experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently while also providing leadership to other project professionals.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgets, scheduling, estimating, procurement, and project controls.
• Proven experience managing project financials and understanding profitability beyond simply tracking costs.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to build credibility quickly with owners, executives, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to make decisions when circumstances change.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands without losing sight of schedule, budget, quality, or client expectations.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with modern construction management and project management software.
• Ability to read and understand construction documents, contracts, plans, specifications, and schedules.
• A leadership mindset with the ability to mentor, motivate, challenge, and develop others.
• Strong business judgment and a genuine understanding of what makes a project successful.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred, though substantial hands-on experience will be highly valued.
