Build What Matters. Lead Projects That Keep Communities Moving.

Are you a seasoned construction Project Manager who knows how to keep complicated projects flowing smoothly? Do you thrive in an environment where schedules are tight, budgets matter, teams are moving in a dozen directions, and every successful project feels like a small engineering miracle?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

We are seeking an accomplished Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of major Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) projects in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. This is an opportunity to take ownership of highly technical, meaningful infrastructure projects while working alongside talented construction professionals who know how to get things done.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Project Manager, you will serve as a key leader throughout the entire project lifecycle. From preconstruction and planning through construction, commissioning, and closeout, you will keep the project moving forward while balancing scope, schedule, quality, safety, and financial performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading WWTP and water infrastructure projects from preconstruction through successful completion.
  • Managing project budgets, forecasts, schedules, contracts, change orders, and overall financial performance.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Coordinating closely with Superintendents and field leadership to ensure projects remain on schedule and on budget.
  • Overseeing subcontractor procurement, contract negotiations, and performance.
  • Reviewing plans, specifications, drawings, and project documents to identify potential challenges and opportunities.
  • Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, progress billing, and project reporting.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules while proactively addressing potential delays.
  • Leading project meetings and serving as a trusted point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining a sharp focus on safety, quality control, and client satisfaction.
  • Mentoring team members and helping create an environment where accountability and collaboration go hand in hand.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings a strong construction background along with experience managing complex infrastructure, heavy civil, water, or wastewater projects. You understand that successful project management requires more than watching spreadsheets. It requires leadership, communication, problem-solving, and the ability to stay calm when the construction universe decides to throw a curveball.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience as a Project Manager within heavy civil, water, wastewater, municipal, or industrial construction.
  • Previous experience with WWTP, WTP, pump station, utility, or other complex infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and project financial management.
  • The ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to managing challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the big picture.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Why This Opportunity?

This is not a role where you'll simply push paperwork from one side of your desk to the other. You'll have the opportunity to lead meaningful projects that directly impact communities while working with a company that values strong leadership, technical expertise, and people who know how to turn ambitious plans into finished projects.

You'll be stepping into a role with:

  • Competitive compensation of $130,000 to $150,000
  • Performance-based incentives
  • Comprehensive benefits
  • Strong project pipeline and long-term stability
  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement
  • A collaborative and experienced team
  • The chance to work on complex, high-profile infrastructure projects
  • A leadership role where your experience and ideas can make a real impact

Ready to Make an Impact?

If you're a driven Project Manager with WWTP, water, wastewater, heavy civil, or infrastructure experience and you're ready for your next big challenge, we'd love to connect.

Bring your leadership. Bring your construction expertise. Bring your ability to keep complex projects moving. We'll bring the opportunity. ????????
