This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth within the construction industry. Along with leading our construction sales team members to individual success within the construction industry. The accomplishment of these responsibilities will be realized while maintaining our commitment to a safe and respectful environment that regards exceeding our customer’s service expectations as our ultimate quality goal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and key players in the construction market.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including networking events, industry associations, and online platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while consistently seeking opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our construction and safety products.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase our company's construction capabilities and differentiate us from competitors.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of our products and services.
  • Prepare and submit detailed proposals, quotes, timelines, and project scopes, in response to client inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure proposals align with client requirements and company capabilities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions in construction vertical.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on market dynamics to the management team.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of the construction market and relevant industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Negotiating and Managing supplier programs
