In the world of construction, safety is not a binder on a shelf. It is the steady pulse behind every pour, lift, weld, and handshake. We are looking for a Safety Manager in Boise who leads with integrity, communicates with clarity, and believes that protecting people is the most important part of the job.
This role is for someone who does not just enforce rules but builds trust. An excellent team player who can walk a jobsite, connect with crews, partner with leadership, and make safety a shared mission rather than a checklist.
What You Will Do
-
Champion a proactive safety culture across all active jobsites
-
Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments with practical follow through
-
Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions that people actually want to attend
-
Partner closely with superintendents, project managers, and trade partners to identify and eliminate risk
-
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and all local, state, and federal regulations
-
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions with fairness and transparency
-
Develop and maintain safety documentation, reports, and corrective action plans
-
Support new hire orientations and ongoing safety education
-
Serve as a trusted advisor to field teams and company leadership
What We Are Looking For
-
3 or more years of construction safety experience
-
Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations
-
OSHA 30 required, OSHA 500 preferred
-
First Aid and CPR certification
-
Clear communicator who can connect with field crews and executives alike
-
Detail oriented and organized without losing sight of the big picture
-
Honest, dependable, and consistent in decision making
-
Ability to walk jobsites and work in active construction environments
What Sets You Apart
You believe safety is about people, not paperwork.
You hold others accountable while holding yourself to an even higher standard.
You build relationships before you build policies.
You are calm under pressure and steady when situations need clear direction.
What You Can Expect
-
Competitive salary in the $60,000 to $70,000 range
-
A team that values collaboration over ego
-
Leadership that listens
-
The opportunity to make a visible, lasting impact on every project
In Boise, where projects rise against a backdrop of open skies and growing opportunity, we are building more than structures. We are building a culture where everyone goes home safe, every day.
If you are ready to be the steady hand that keeps the jobsite strong, we would love to meet you.
