Job Title: Senior Commercial Project Manager – Data Center Projects

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Strategic Commercial Initiatives: Take charge of the commercial direction for high-stakes data center projects, providing expert guidance throughout every phase to ensure seamless execution and profitability.
  • Build and Strengthen Client Partnerships: Serve as the trusted advisor to clients, cultivating long-term relationships and ensuring all commercial aspects are delivered to perfection.
  • Collaborate for Success: Partner with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and finance, to develop bold commercial proposals, competitive pricing models, and cutting-edge solutions that set us apart in the market.
  • Master Contract Negotiations: Own the negotiation process, from contract creation to execution, ensuring alignment with company goals, client expectations, and legal standards.
  • Champion Financial Performance: Drive financial success by overseeing project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost reductions and improvements that maximize profitability.
  • Strategic Risk Management: Take the lead on identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks, ensuring that projects run smoothly while protecting the company’s interests.
  • Deliver Impactful Insights: Create and present detailed financial reports, performance analyses, and project updates to senior management and key stakeholders, driving informed decision-making.
  • Market Insight and Innovation: Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and industry innovations to continuously enhance commercial strategies and ensure a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, with 7+ years of experience in commercial project management, preferably in data center or similar industries.
  • Deep Industry Expertise: Profound understanding of commercial principles, contract law, risk management, and sustainable construction practices.
  • Tech-Forward: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, financial modeling software, and any other tools that drive efficiency and success.
  • Exceptional Negotiator & Communicator: A proven ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams at all levels.
  • Multitasking Pro: Ability to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met without compromise.
