Salary: 150,000 USD - 200,000 USD
Sector: Banking
Type: Permanent

The Opportunity

If you can read a balance sheet like a map and navigate complex client relationships like a seasoned captain steering through foggy waters, this role is calling your name. We’re seeking a Senior Commercial Relationship Manager to own, expand, and energize a high-value portfolio in the vibrant, fast-moving market of Seattle.

This isn’t a “maintain the status quo” seat. This is a growth engine role, equal parts strategist, dealmaker, and trusted advisor. You’ll sit at the intersection of business ambition and financial possibility, helping clients unlock capital, structure smart solutions, and scale with confidence.

What You’ll Do

  • Cultivate and grow a diverse commercial portfolio, turning solid relationships into long-term partnerships that actually mean something
  • Originate, structure, and close complex credit facilities across C&I, owner-occupied CRE, and investment real estate
  • Act as the quarterback between clients, credit teams, and leadership to move deals from concept to close with precision
  • Deliver tailored financial solutions that align with each client’s strategy, risk profile, and growth trajectory
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and deep market awareness (yes, you’ll be out there, not behind a desk all day)
  • Maintain a disciplined approach to portfolio management, ensuring credit quality, compliance, and profitability stay sharp
  • Mentor junior bankers and contribute to a culture of collaboration, accountability, and quiet excellence

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of commercial banking experience with a proven track record of business development and portfolio growth
  • Strong credit acumen with the ability to structure and analyze complex deals without breaking a sweat
  • A network in the Seattle market that’s more than just LinkedIn connections
  • Confidence in front of clients, executives, and credit committees alike
  • The ability to balance risk and reward like a seasoned tightrope walker
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus, not a must)

Why This Role Stands Out

  • High-impact seat with visibility to executive leadership
  • Autonomy to build your book your way without micromanagement hovering overhead
  • Competitive base + aggressive incentive structure that rewards performance, not just effort
  • A platform with the tools, credit appetite, and reputation to actually win deals
  • A culture that values sharp thinking, decisive action, and people who follow through

The Bottom Line

This is where relationship management becomes an art form and commercial banking feels less like routine and more like strategy in motion. If you’re ready to step into a role where your portfolio tells a story of growth, trust, and smart risk-taking, this is your stage.
