If you're ready to elevate your career with a growing financial institution that values strategic thinking, collaboration, and professional development, we'd love to meet you.

We're seeking an experienced Senior Credit Analyst who brings both technical expertise and business insight to every credit decision. In this role, you'll partner with commercial lenders and leadership to analyze complex credit requests, assess financial risk, and help build a high-quality lending portfolio while supporting the continued success of our clients.

This is more than just analyzing financial statements. It's about helping businesses grow while protecting the strength and integrity of the bank.

What You'll Do

As our Senior Credit Analyst, you'll play a critical role in the commercial lending process by:

  • Conducting comprehensive financial statement analysis for commercial lending relationships.
  • Evaluating creditworthiness through detailed analysis of cash flow, collateral, debt service coverage, liquidity, leverage, and overall financial performance.
  • Preparing thorough credit approval memorandums and loan presentations for management and loan committee review.
  • Assessing risk factors while identifying opportunities that align with the bank's lending philosophy.
  • Analyzing tax returns, borrowing structures, guarantor strength, and industry trends.
  • Monitoring existing loan relationships and identifying potential concerns before they become issues.
  • Collaborating closely with Commercial Relationship Managers to structure profitable lending solutions.
  • Reviewing covenant compliance and portfolio performance.
  • Assisting with annual credit reviews, renewals, modifications, and portfolio management.
  • Providing recommendations that balance sound credit judgment with exceptional customer service.
  • Staying informed on market conditions, economic trends, regulatory requirements, and industry developments.
  • Mentoring junior credit analysts while serving as a technical resource across the credit department.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and confident making recommendations backed by sound financial analysis.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of commercial credit analysis experience within a bank or financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of commercial lending practices and underwriting principles.
  • Experience analyzing financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and collateral structures.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate, C&I, and owner-occupied lending is highly preferred.
  • Excellent written communication with the ability to prepare detailed and persuasive credit presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and professional judgment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software.

What Makes You Successful

You enjoy solving financial puzzles, asking thoughtful questions, and turning complex financial information into clear lending recommendations. You're collaborative by nature, communicate effectively with lenders and leadership, and understand that exceptional credit analysis is both an art and a science.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary of $75,000-$90,000
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
