What You'll Do:
- Build Strong Connections: Attract new loan and deposit relationships by leveraging your networking prowess, cold calling, and attending local business and social events to create lasting partnerships.
- Assess Financial Health: Request and analyze financial information to determine the feasibility of granting loans, ensuring a thorough and data-driven decision-making process.
- Guide Clients with Expertise: Interview clients to understand their business needs, resolve questions, and provide expert guidance in loan structuring and pricing.
- Champion Success: Present credit proposals for approval, ensuring that loan agreements are complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies.
- Drive Business Growth: Analyze market trends and identify new prospects for loans and deposits to expand our footprint and create new opportunities.
- Manage and Nurture Relationships: Monitor the financial health of borrowers, ensuring compliance with loan covenants, while providing ongoing service and maintaining a portfolio of clients.
- Represent Our Brand: Be a visible presence in the community, representing the bank at civic, industry meetings, and events, further enhancing our reputation.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant experience in relationship management, business development, or a related field.
- A passion for building strong relationships and driving business results.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial information and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to deliver the best outcomes for clients.
- Ability to maintain a high level of client satisfaction while keeping delinquencies and classified loans to a minimum.
