Senior Relationship Manager
Location: Seattle, WA / Portland, OR
Salary Range: $175,000 – $225,000 (DOE + performance incentives)

About the Role:
As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a select portfolio of commercial and/or private banking clients, managing complex credit and deposit relationships while cultivating new business through your professional network and community presence. This is a high-impact role for a proactive financial advisor who can blend strategy with execution, and relationship depth with market knowledge.
You will work closely with credit analysts, underwriters, portfolio managers, and executive leadership to structure sophisticated financial solutions that support the long-term goals of our clients. Your ability to lead with insight, build trust, and drive value makes you a key player in our growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Management:
Manage, grow, and retain a diverse portfolio of high-value commercial and private clients. Ensure proactive engagement, cross-selling, and risk management. -
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, referral partnerships, and targeted outreach. Represent the bank at industry and community events. -
Credit & Deposit Solutions:
Partner with underwriting and credit teams to structure complex credit facilities, from lines of credit and term loans to CRE and SBA lending. Recommend deposit and treasury management products that fit the client’s unique cash flow and liquidity needs. -
Client Advisory:
Serve as a trusted advisor by offering insightful financial guidance, tailored recommendations, and industry expertise. Regularly meet with clients to review performance, assess needs, and identify opportunities. -
Risk & Compliance:
Ensure all client relationships meet regulatory and credit standards. Participate in annual reviews, renewals, and ongoing monitoring activities. -
Internal Leadership:
Mentor junior RMs and analysts. Collaborate with internal partners to ensure seamless onboarding, delivery, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field (MBA or advanced certifications preferred).

7+ years of relationship management experience in commercial, middle-market, or private banking.

Proven ability to originate, structure, and manage complex credit relationships.

Deep knowledge of financial analysis, risk management, and banking products.

Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Strong understanding of the Seattle/Portland market dynamics and client landscape.
