We are searching for an accomplished Senior Credit Administration professional to join a highly respected financial institution in the Seattle market. This is an opportunity for someone who brings serious credit knowledge to the table but also understands that great banking is about more than spreadsheets and policy manuals.
You will play a key role in supporting and strengthening the credit function, working closely with lenders, credit professionals, senior leadership, and other key stakeholders. From credit administration and portfolio oversight to policy, process improvement, risk management, and complex problem-solving, this position offers a broad and meaningful seat at the banking table.
Think of yourself as part credit strategist, part risk navigator, and part operational maestro. ????
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Credit Administration professional, you will help ensure the credit function operates efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with the institution's risk appetite and strategic objectives.
Your responsibilities may include:

- Reviewing complex credit relationships and helping identify potential risks before they become unwelcome surprises.
- Supporting loan approval, administration, documentation, and ongoing portfolio management processes.
- Ensuring appropriate compliance with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and established credit standards.
- Collaborating with relationship managers, underwriters, credit analysts, and executive leadership.
- Helping improve processes, systems, workflows, and reporting within the credit organization.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to credit administration and banking professionals.
- Participating in audits, examinations, loan reviews, and other risk-management initiatives.
- Serving as a trusted resource when the credit waters get complicated, because they occasionally enjoy doing that.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is an experienced banking and credit professional with a strong understanding of commercial lending, credit administration, risk management, and portfolio oversight.
We are looking for someone with:
- Significant experience in commercial banking, credit administration, underwriting, portfolio management, or a related discipline.
- A strong understanding of commercial credit principles, financial analysis, and risk assessment.
- Experience working with complex commercial and/or commercial real estate lending relationships.
- Knowledge of loan documentation, credit policy, regulatory expectations, and banking best practices.
- The ability to analyze complicated situations and transform them into thoughtful, practical solutions.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A detail-oriented mindset without losing sight of the larger strategic picture.
- Leadership ability and the confidence to collaborate with professionals across multiple departments and levels of seniority.
- A passion for continuous improvement and finding smarter ways to get things done.
Why This Opportunity?
This is not a role where you will spend your days quietly guarding a filing cabinet of policies and procedures. You will have the opportunity to make an impact on the direction, quality, and effectiveness of an important credit function.
You will join an organization that values experience, collaboration, sound decision-making, and professionals who know that strong credit is both an art and a science.

- Comprehensive benefits package
- A highly visible and impactful senior-level role
- Opportunities to collaborate with experienced banking and executive leadership
