The Opportunity

The Superintendent will serve as the field leader responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship. This role collaborates closely with project managers, subcontractors, owners, and inspectors to bring complex construction plans to life.

You will be the heartbeat of the jobsite, coordinating teams, solving challenges before they grow teeth, and maintaining the momentum that keeps projects moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Field Operations

• Manage daily jobsite activities from mobilization through project completion

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and labor to maintain productivity and workflow

• Ensure all work meets design specifications, quality standards, and project schedules

Drive Project Scheduling

• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules

• Proactively identify potential delays and implement solutions before they impact progress

• Coordinate sequencing between trades to maintain efficient jobsite operations

Safety Leadership

• Champion a culture of safety and accountability across the entire project team

• Enforce OSHA compliance and company safety protocols

• Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and jobsite audits

Quality & Craftsmanship

• Oversee workmanship to ensure high standards across all phases of construction

• Perform regular inspections and manage punch list completion

• Work closely with project managers to ensure owner expectations are exceeded

Communication & Coordination

• Serve as the primary field contact for subcontractors and project stakeholders

• Provide daily reports and updates on schedule, manpower, and project milestones

• Collaborate with project management to address challenges and maintain momentum

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar leadership role

• Proven experience managing commercial, multifamily, or large-scale construction projects

• Strong ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and maintain productive jobsite environments

• Solid understanding of safety regulations and construction best practices
