We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join a growing and highly respected construction team in Raleigh, NC. This is an opportunity for a hands-on, solutions-oriented leader who knows how to turn blueprints into finished projects while keeping safety, quality, communication, and schedules firmly on track.

As Superintendent, you will be the heartbeat of the job site. You will coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders while maintaining the momentum needed to deliver exceptional work. No two days will look exactly alike, and that is part of the fun. One moment you may be solving a complex field challenge, and the next you may be celebrating another major project milestone with your team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and manage all day-to-day field operations from project startup through successful completion.
• Develop, maintain, and drive project schedules to keep work moving efficiently and on target.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and according to project plans and specifications.
• Conduct regular job site inspections and maintain exceptional quality standards.
• Identify potential challenges before they become expensive problems and develop practical solutions.
• Partner closely with Project Managers, engineers, architects, owners, and other key stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor field teams while creating a positive, accountable, and high-performing job site culture.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and company safety standards.
• Monitor project progress, manpower needs, materials, equipment, and upcoming milestones.
• Maintain clear and consistent project documentation, including daily reports and progress updates.
• Help drive projects to completion while protecting schedules, budgets, quality, and client relationships.

You know how to communicate with everyone from skilled tradespeople to executives, and you understand that the best Superintendents combine technical knowledge with strong leadership.

Preferred qualifications include:

• 5+ years of construction Superintendent experience or equivalent field leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, sequencing, scheduling, and job site operations.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.
• A demonstrated commitment to job site safety and quality.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency with construction technology and project management tools is a plus.
• OSHA certifications and additional industry credentials are highly valued.
