Superintendent
Position Summary
The Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day onsite management of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves close coordination with project managers, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain workflow, safety, and project integrity.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all field operations on the construction site.

Maintain daily logs and documentation of job site activities.

Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and inspections.

Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and building codes.

Uphold a strong culture of safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.

Conduct regular quality control inspections and address issues promptly.

Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage schedules, resolve issues, and track progress.

Foster a positive and productive work environment onsite.

Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and ensure timely updates.
Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Superintendent or construction leadership role.

Proven track record managing field operations on commercial or residential construction projects.

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and scheduling.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in project management tools and scheduling software is a plus.

OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
