Build It Right. Build It Safe. Build Something That Lasts.
Hard hats aren't fashion statements. Safety glasses aren't accessories. And a Superintendent isn't someone who watches from the sidelines.
We're looking for a field leader who thrives where cranes swing, schedules tighten, crews rally together, and every successful day ends with one important statistic: everyone goes home safely.
If you believe planning beats panic, communication solves problems before they become expensive, and jobsite safety is simply part of building great projects, you'll fit right in.
This is an opportunity to lead exciting commercial construction projects throughout the Salt Lake Valley while working for a company that believes quality craftsmanship and a strong safety culture belong on the same blueprint.
What You'll Do
Every day is different, but your mission stays the same: deliver exceptional projects while protecting your people.
You'll:
- Lead daily field operations from groundbreaking through final completion.
- Champion an uncompromising safety culture and ensure OSHA standards are exceeded, not simply met.
- Conduct daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and proactive jobsite inspections.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project teams.
- Keep projects on schedule while maintaining outstanding workmanship.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Solve field challenges with confidence, creativity, and calm leadership.
- Monitor budgets, production goals, manpower, and equipment utilization.
- Ensure every trade works efficiently without stepping on each other's boots...or freshly poured concrete.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, progress documentation, and project logs.
- Coordinate inspections and maintain compliance with local codes.
- Mentor assistant superintendents and field personnel to help them grow into future leaders.
- Communicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and project managers.
- Protect company equipment, project quality, and team morale with equal enthusiasm.
Safety Isn't a Department. It's the Way We Work.
Our ideal Superintendent understands that safety starts long before the first shovel hits the ground.
You'll help create an environment where:
- Hazards are identified before they become incidents.
- Every crew member has the authority to speak up.
- PPE is worn because it's expected, not because someone is watching.
- Housekeeping isn't an afterthought.
- Near misses become learning opportunities.
- Planning ahead keeps projects moving smoothly and safely.
Around here, the best kind of incident report is the one that never has to be written.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
- Proven ability to lead multiple subcontractors on active jobsites
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices
- Excellent scheduling and coordination skills
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction software
- Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
The Kind of Leader You'll Be
You don't raise your voice to earn respect.
You earn it by showing up prepared, keeping your word, solving problems before they grow legs, and making safety part of every conversation.
Your crew knows where the plan is.
Your subcontractors know what's expected.
Your project manager knows they can count on you.
And at the end of the day, your greatest accomplishment isn't just another completed milestone. It's seeing every member of the team climb into their truck and head home safely.
What You'll Receive
- Salary: $110,000 to $150,000
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid Time Off and paid holidays
- Company vehicle or vehicle allowance
- Performance-based bonus opportunities
- Professional development and leadership training
- Long-term career advancement
- Supportive, collaborative team culture
- Exciting commercial projects throughout the Wasatch Front
Ready to Take the Lead?
If you're a Superintendent who believes that great projects begin with great planning, successful teams are built on trust, and safety is the strongest tool in every toolbox, we'd love to meet you.
Bring your leadership. Bring your experience. Bring your commitment to sending every worker home in the same condition they arrived, just a little prouder of what they built.
