Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee multi-family construction projects in Salt Lake City, UT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-family developments, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires leadership, organization, and strong communication skills to manage subcontractors, schedules, and site activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day field operations on multi-family construction sites.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and maintain construction schedules, ensuring all subcontractors and trades stay on track.
  • Quality Control: Enforce high-quality construction practices while following plans, specs, and industry standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce OSHA safety regulations, conducting regular inspections to ensure a safe job site.
  • Subcontractor Management: Supervise subcontractors and vendors, resolving issues to keep projects moving forward.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Work with the project manager to monitor costs and keep projects within budget.
  • Communication & Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to senior management, clients, and project stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and resolve construction-related challenges to avoid delays.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in multi-family construction.
  • Strong understanding of wood-frame, concrete, and steel construction techniques.
  • Experience managing projects ranging from $10M–$50M+ in scope.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar construction management software.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks.
